Her paintings come with many layers...
The first layer is what she thinks she knows and the last layer is what she already knew and chose to forget.
Utilizing all forms of mixed media including, oil, acrylic, candle wax, spackling paste, watercolor, ink and dye.
Stephanie started painting out of curiosity and a feeling of uncomfortable reality. Painting to her is “like poetry on canvas and dance with a brush...” it just made sense. She only paints in the
morning and critiques all day long. Each painting is given a fictional band name.. because in her dreams she can sing...
The colors each represent a separate feeling yet, come together on common ground. She learns only by letting mistakes guide her way and It is the navigation of her the soul.
