Anjali Pujari
Anjali Pujari is an interdisciplinary artist and a writer from the valley of Sharavati, Western ghats of Karnataka. Practicing micro artwork in chalk carving for the past 14 years while venturing in the spectrum of animism and insect ecology. Highlighting the world of insects through various mediums of sculptures and carvings using chalk pieces, wires and murals. Insects are a highly misunderstood and lesser-known group of beings which are threatened due to the climate crisis. Pujari’s art evokes uniting the world of humans and insects together using a delicate material like chalk piece, to ignite the thought of fragility and sensitivity in a fast-paced industrial world.
