I am Sahil Verma, a budding artist from New Delhi who practices abstract, contemporary and mixed media art. I have been painting for as long as I can remember and I am self taught. I like to experiment with my expression of thoughts through different mediums, from sketching to sculpture, pottery to painting. I practice different art forms as meditation - to help me untangle my thoughts, to rejuvenate myself, and for retrospection. The material I use are mostly acrylic paints along with gold leaf, tissues, fevicol, newspaper and crayons. The material I use depends on the texture I want and what I want from the canvas to convey.
